This Privacy Policy explains what information BioCopy collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We aim to collect as little as possible and to keep your data yours.
Account information: a username (handle), optional display name, bio, and avatar. If you choose to claim your account, we also store your email address so we can send you a secure sign-in link.
Workout information: the workouts, sets, reps, streaks, muscle/recovery estimates ("ranks"), playlists, and schedule you create in the app.
Device and usage information: basic technical data needed to run the app reliably.
Camera: when you use camera-assisted features, video frames are processed on your device to count reps and check form. We do not upload raw camera video for rep counting.
We use your information to provide and improve the Service: to build your workout plan, track progress and recovery, sync your profile across your devices, power social features you choose to use, and keep the Service secure. We do not sell your personal information.
Your data is stored on your device and, once you have an account, mirrored to our cloud provider so it can sync across devices. Authentication and storage are handled by trusted service providers under their own security and privacy commitments.
We share data only with service providers that help us operate the Service (such as cloud hosting and authentication), when required by law, or to protect the safety and rights of users. Content you choose to post publicly (for example, to your profile or a feed) is visible to others by design.
You can use BioCopy as a guest without providing an email. You can edit your profile, and you can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, or delete your data.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data and to limit what we collect.
BioCopy is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be reflected in the version and effective date at the top of this document.
