Welcome to BioCopy. These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are a binding agreement between you and BioCopy ("we", "us", "our") that governs your use of the BioCopy app and website (the "Service").
By creating an account, tapping "I agree", or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Medical Disclaimer. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years old to use BioCopy. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use the Service with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
You are responsible for keeping your account and login (including any email magic-link) secure, and for all activity that happens under your account.
You can start using BioCopy as a guest. You may later claim your account by adding an email so your profile and workout history can sync across your devices.
You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date. You may delete your account at any time; see the Privacy Policy for what that means for your data.
You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you will not: break the law or infringe anyone's rights; upload content that is harassing, hateful, sexually exploitative, or otherwise harmful; impersonate others; attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours; scrape, reverse-engineer, or overload the Service; or use the Service to distribute malware or spam.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that create risk or harm for other users.
BioCopy provides workout guidance, recovery estimates, camera-assisted rep counting, and related fitness features for general informational and motivational purposes only.
BioCopy is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Your use of any workout, recommendation, or metric is at your own risk. Please read our Medical Disclaimer before you train.
Some features use your device camera to help count reps and check form. Camera processing for rep counting happens on your device; we do not upload raw camera video for that purpose.
You keep ownership of the content you create (posts, captions, photos, playlists). By sharing content through the Service, you grant BioCopy a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Service. You are responsible for the content you share and confirm you have the right to share it.
The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, and logos, is owned by BioCopy and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the Service for your own non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute the Service without our permission.
The Service relies on third parties (for example, cloud hosting and authentication) and may embed third-party content such as music players. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices, and we are not responsible for third-party content or services.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any metric or recommendation is accurate for your body or situation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BioCopy and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or physical injury, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Physical exercise carries inherent risks, including injury. By using BioCopy you voluntarily assume all risks associated with exercising, and you agree that BioCopy is not responsible for any injury, harm, or loss that results from your training.
We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the version and effective date shown at the top of this document and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end the Service, or your access to it, if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue a feature.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which BioCopy operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The specific governing jurisdiction will be confirmed prior to public launch.
